in celebration of “A Return to Hogwarts” which premiered on HBO on January 1, 2022. The crew reunited for a special that marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which officially hit theaters on Nov. 16, 2001, in the United States. The series has some very memorable and inspirational quotes.
On June 26, 1997, the United Kingdom released Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone book. The following year it was released in the United States and all over the world. Instant classic.
There have been 6 books since then, 7 overall. It has given us incredible movies and memories, great for all ages. Beyond that it has given us inspirational, memorable quotes.
I remember seeing the first Harry movie for the first time in middle school and the last movie in theaters.

Horace Slughorn: A Horcrux is an object in which a person has concealed part of their soul.
Tom Riddle: But I don’t understand how that works, Sir.
Horace Slughorn: One splits ones soul and hides part of it in an object. By doing so, you are protected, should you be attacked and your body destroyed.
Tom Riddle: Protected?
Horace Slughorn: That part of your soul that is hidden lives on. In other words, you cannot die.
Tom Riddle: And how does one split his soul, sir?
Horace Slughorn: I think you already know the answer to that, Tom
.Tom Riddle: Murder.
Horace Slughorn: Yes. Killing rips the soul apart. It’s a violation against nature.
Tom Riddle: Can you only split the soul once? For instance, isn’t seven…
Horace Slughorn: Seven? Merlin’s beard, Tom! Isn’t it bad enough to consider killing one person? To rip the soul into seven pieces… This is all hypothetical, isn’t it, Tom? All academic?

Conclusion
Harry for many of us were our childhood. Our friend. It made us feel that maybe we are special too. 20+ years later, the movies and books are doing the same for kids around the world.
The Harry Potter universe will live on forever in time.
