Recently I have changed my topics to talk about on this blog. I chose to focus on the six main areas of personal wellness.
The five main areas are mental, relationship, physical, spiritual and emotional. All are important in their own right. All help in the development of your personal wellness. When you focus on one, it improves another. It is important that you take the time to focus on all five areas of self-improvement.
Today we are going to break down these six areas in more detail. Explaining what we can do to improve each group. These are simple tips so no expertise is needed.

The good thing about 2022 is that mental health is being less stigmatized. There are some people who still do not believe it but we have come so far in recent years.
Mental health just like it says is all on the inside. Improving your brain to function more properly with less stress so you can live life to the fullest.
Work with anything that will calm you down and get your brain stimulated.
How to improve your mental wellness
Get some fresh air
Light some incense
Take a bubble bath
Take a nap
Read a book
Look at the stars
I have to say this has to be the area I need most help on. Well actually the 2cd area, first would be emotional.
Also known as social self-care. It is not only about your friendship, family or other relationships. It is about the relationship you have with yourself.
You need to have a good relationship with yourself so you can know that you deserve to be loved and have friends. Be a good friend to yourself so you can be a good friend to others.
Some tips to improve relationship and social wellness
- Host a party
- Talk to a friend
- Say hi to a stranger
- Tell yourself you are deserving
- Be nicer
Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition,moderate-vigorous physical exercise and sufficient rest during.
Very different from mental self-care as it is more focused on the outer body.
How do you go about improving your physical self-care-
Anything that gets your body moving. A walk, the gym, dancing, yoga…
Eating fruits and vegetables (yes the pizza is fine)
Making sure you are hydrated. I drink Gatorade instead of water since water makes me vomit
According to Northwestern Edu Spiritual wellness is defined as expanding a sense of purpose and meaning in life, including one’s morals and ethics. It may or may not involve religious activities.
You do not need to go all Jesus-loving (unless that is what you wish)

Get a tarot reading
Know that you deserve to be alive
Go to church
Know that you have a purpose in life
I am not in tune with my emotions nor do I care for others. I don’t get the need for any emotions such as crying. I bottle up my emotions to the point that I explode every so often. It is not a pretty sight.
You can learn from my example of how to not handle emotions. You for sure do not want to bottle up anything to have it later explode. This can ruin friendships and relationships.

Use a journal
Find a creative outlet
Cry if you have to
Yes, there are 5 main aspects you should focus on but my need to have an even number made me chose creative development also.
This is tapping into your creative side. You may not think you have one but everyone does. You just need to be patient and try new things.
Playing an instrument
To develop my creative side more, I want to buy a small piano and learn how to play it. This has been my goal since childhood. My goal is to find a good price to purchase before the end of 2022.
Improving on all six areas of personal wellness will help in the long run. You will be a stress-free, energetic, emotionally balanced, life loving person.
We can not forget about yearly checkups also. The dentist, doctor, eye doctor, gyno… This way you can make sure everything inside out is doing fine.
Do not be afraid to get help if you need it to better any of these areas. Some people tend to shame others for getting the support they need. Ignore those people and focus on helping your self.
